The Winfrey Evangelistic Association is a charitable Christian organization founded by the late Dr. Gene Winfrey. Bro. Gene had a heart for the mission field and for those who tirelessly work in it, willing to act as God’s very hands and feet. In this spirit, the WEA collects funds from numerous donors, including church congregations, and disperses them to missionaries across the country and around the world. Since Bro. Gene’s passing in January of 2013, the work of the association continues under the direction of his friends and family, who remain committed to those who are active in the mission field.
